As a Christian talking to God is extremely important. Small group prayer is usually handled by our Life Groups, with time dedicated to prayer each week, the intimate setting is ideal for sharing and praying for one another. As a church, however, we also have teams and meetings dedicated specifically to the act of prayer.
Intercessors Team
The core of our prayer ministry is an intercessors team who meet fortnightly on Mondays. They spend a few hours together thanking, seeking and lifting up God in prayer. They pray over the issues that the church is dealing with at that moment, whether that be an illness in a church member or a need for break-through in a particular ministry.

The team is headed up by Marilyn Wagstaff and is invitation only to partners of the church. Should you wish to get involved in starting another prayer group then get in touch with the office and we’ll get you in touch with Marilyn (or just find her on a Sunday!)
Prayer Meetings
An aspect of the prayer ministry we encourage all partners and regular members of the church to get involved in is the regular corporate prayer meetings, held ….. These are times when we meet as a church to share our prayer needs. Time is spent praying in small groups and together as a whole about the issues most pressing to the church. We also spend time interceding for the local community and other churches in the area as well as missionaries in other countries.
