At Lifechurch our Network Groups serve to provide support, guidance and encouragement to people in similar situations. They don’t necessarily meet on a regular basis but are overseen by a person, or couple, within the church with experience, having been involved, or having been through a similar situation.
We have network groups for people in varying situations, such as:
- Widows and Widowers,
- Adoptive and Foster Parents,
- Grandparents,
For example a number of people in the church foster young people and the fostering network group provides a great way to connect with people in similar circumstances. It also serves as a method to raise awareness of the need for foster parents in the community. The group is overseen by a couple within the church who have been through the fostering process and understand the emotional and practical situations that can arise to first time fosterers.
If you’d like to get involved in a network group listed above or perhaps know of a friend who might benefit from the companionship and encouragement that a network group could provide then don’t hesitate to get in touch using the form on the right.
“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress…” – James 1:27
