Connect Groups

Do you love to read? Do you have strong opinions on what you read? Then the book group is ideal for you. It’s a chance to get together with people you may not otherwise connect with, to read a range of books you may never have picked for yourself, and share in lively discussion on the month’s chosen book. The book club happens in both Nuneaton and Bedworth.

Have you taken some time for yourself lately? Do you love creating that special something for your loved one but don’t have time? Well, the time is now to come on out and meet others who love to craft too.

‘Crafternoon’ meets each month on a Saturday from 12 noon to 5 pm. Bring that project that has been waiting to be worked on, the one you need help on, and just relax and have fun!

The Art Workshop is a gathering of people who have an interest and passion for art.

There is the opportunity for people of all abilities to practice art in a wide variety of mediums like pastels, watercolours, acrylics plus more.

There is no formal teaching but we hope to provide a relaxing inviting environment where people can develop their passion for art. As there’s no right or wrong with art and it’s hoped that we will all learn off each other.

‘Knit & Natter’ are a friendly group who greatly benefit from the opportunity of relaxing together and catching up with one another whilst knitting baby
clothes. These clothes are given out to ladies in the community at the Baby
Showers organised by the Women to Women at Lifechurch.

In addition to the baby clothes and cot blankets that they make they
are currently knitting Nativity figures and hope to have a nativity
set completed that will bless at least one family this Christmas.

They meet once a month and are able to bring together the items that they
have completed in spare moments at home (some take their knitting to
work and enjoy relaxing during their lunch hour!) as well as spending
their time together enjoying what is a very pleasant hobby.

A warm welcome awaits you at Bramcote Driving Range for the Golf Connect Group lead by the owner Tony Cox, PGA Professional and Life Church member.

Whether you are a golf fanatic, beginner or just want to have a go then come along on a friday at 7pm. This group session aims to provide you with expert tuition around the golf swing and the opportunity to learn a new sport.

The Driving Range is close to Nuneaton & Bedworth, has 25 floodlit bays, and coffee shop.
Cost is £3.00 for 60 balls or £5.00 for 100 balls.

The railway connect group is suitable for all ages. Each month has a different theme such as creating scenery, wiring points or how to set up a layout. As well as the monthly meetings we have trips planned to exhibitions and heritage railways. We are also planning on setting up our own combined layout. The group is open to anyone who has an interest in model railways.
