New Friends is a contemporary programme intended to reach out and
make a difference to the over 50's within the community.

Our primary activity is a lunch held at the Christian Centre on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 12 - 2pm at a cost of £2.00, which provides a great opportunity to make new friends and to catch up with old ones! We also have guest speakers, demonstrations or even a DVD.

Once a year we hold our Holiday @ Home, which is a two day event that gives everyone a chance to have holiday fun without going away. There are also a variety of social events during the year such as Beer and Skittles nights, theatre trips and quizzes.
